The Nishinos

In the summer of 1985, we had a foreign exchange student named Michito Nishino from Niigata, Japan for a month. He got to do all kinds of things they would never let him do in Japan (or America, if they had found out about them...) He got to drive a tractor, operate a backhoe, play in the mud, and sweat a lot (it was very hot that summer. One of the few Japanese words I remember is "atsui" which is pronounced like "Yahtzee" without the "Y" and means "hot".)
