(* Really 90 minutes, but One Hour Wander sounded better.) Eight weeks, eight routes. Destinations include Capitol Hill, Windermere, Magnolia, Shilshole, Madison Park, Blue Ridge, Meadowbrook, and Beacon Hill. Social pace, with some hills (hey, it's Seattle!). This is a stay-together group; we'll regroup after hills. Lights required.

For the uninitiated, we will ride from Gasworks Park to Seward Park and back via the Arboretum every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in November, except there will be no formal Cruizin' rides on Wednesday and Thursday, November 23rd and 24th (the day before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day) (but call the leader to see if he's available to lead an informal day before and/or Thanksgiving ride.) In general, we'll travel 16-22 mph (with a social-paced loop around lower Seward Park). Heavy or steady rain cancels. Helments, a good attitude, and a pleasant disposition required.

Fast paceline rides 20-23 mph (level, no wind) from Renton to surrounding areas (Bellevue, Issaquah, Kent, Mercer Island). Depending on turnout, ride will split into two groups. Route will be determined at ride start depending on weather and group consensus. Each route will have a few good hills or short sprints. Riders will "regroup" into a paceline at top of hills and after sprints. Routes and distance will vary.

The leaders (Kathy & Steve) are visiting Seattle from Vancouver, WA for - you guessed it - a Husky football game, combined with this ride, back by popular demand. Barb says we need to continue earning our ride leader jersey. The ride goes through Fremont, the Ship Canal, Interbay, the Waterfront, the Central area and Beacon Hill to Seward Park, then continues along Lake Washington to the U-District. Optional more miles up north, plus lunch at end of the ride. Come to ride or drop by early to say hi.

Fast paceline rides 20-23 mph (level,no-wind) from Renton to surrounding areas (Bellevue, Issaquah, May Valley, Kent, or Mercer Island). Large turnout splits into 2 groups. Light rain/showers tolerated, but Monsoon cancels. During dark winter months, lights are required fenders recommended; Mtn bikes with road tires are popular.
