Helmets are required on all Cascade Bicycle Club rides. All the rides are
classified
according to pace and the type of services provided by the ride leader.

Fast paceline rides 20 to 23 mph (level, no wind)
from Renton to surrounding areas (Bellevue,
Issaquah, Kent, Mercer Island). Depending on
turnout, ride will split into two groups. Route
will be determined at ride start depending on
weather and group consensus. Each route will have
a few good hills or short sprints. Riders will
"re-group" into a paceline at top of hills and
after sprints. Routes and distance will vary
depending on weather.

fitness and group riding skills. Fast paceline
rides 20-23 mph (level, no-wind) from Renton to
surrounding areas (Bellevue, Issaquah, May Valley,
Kent, or Mercer Island). Large turnout splits into
2 groups. Light rain/showers tolerated, but
Monsoon cancels. During dark winter months, lights
are required, fenders recommended; mountain bikes
with road tires are popular.

rained out. Enjoy the back roads of Eastern
Snohomish County. Take exit 192 on I-5. Take 41st
St. exit (from South) after leaving Freeway. Right
at next Street (3rd). Follow road as it curves
left and turn left at 2nd Street. One block to
parking area.

Port Townsend or Bainbridge Island, meet metric
century riders in Port Ludlow. From here the ride
goes to Quilcene and loops the beautiful Toandos
Peninsula. Moderate and brisk pace ride leaders.
